This April, ex-Morning Musume member Konno Asami joined TV Tokyo as a rookie announcer. On the 4th, she appeared on the program "World Business Satellite" with fellow new recruits, where she spoke about her future goals.

Konno was asked by the veteran announcer of the show if she would like to work on the show's "Trend Tamago" segment. Appearing slightly nervous, Konno replied, "In order to do that, I want to work hard on my training now."

When asked if she wants to work in the fields of news, sports, or variety, the former singer replied, "I want to work hard at all of them, but (especially) sports!"

As a fresh recruit, Konno is currently still in training and working towards making a debut on a TV program.
