Singer Salyu (30) has collaborated with Mr. Children's Sakurai Kazutoshi (41) for the first time in 5 years to produce the single "Aozora", on sale July 13th.

This is the first time for the two to collaborate since the single "toU", released in 2006 under the band name "Bank Band with Salyu". It is also the first time for Sakurai to offer his talents to another artist's song, and�Kobayashi Takeshi produced and edited the track.

On the mid-tempo track, Salyu's clear voice leaves a lasting impression. After the earthquake and tsunami disaster, as the vocalist wondered what message she could send to the affected areas, she came to Sakurai for advice and the two decided to produce the single. "What I want to express through my music, both as the subject of this song and in general, is tenderness, affection, and beauty. I want to show these to the people", she commented.

The release will also include the song "magic", currently used as the opening theme of Fuji Television's news program "Mezanyu~", airing weekdays at 4 AM.
