It's been reported that�AKB48 will be collaborating with Hello Kitty for a new series of products called "AKB48 x Hello Kitty".

This new series was designed after AKB48's stage costumes, and will come in three different variations: Team A, Team K, and Team B. Hello Kitty will sport the team letter on the knot of her ribbons.

The first batch of products will include 12 items, such as memo pads, ringed notebooks, clear files, and mini towels. They will be sold in�Sanrio stores at Sanrio World Ginza, Shinjuku Gift Gate, and Ikebukuro Gift Gate starting early August, but will be available in advance�at Sanrio Puroland from July 26th.

In commemoration of the "AKB48 x Hello Kitty" product launch, an event will be held at Sanrio Puroland on July 26th called, "AKB48 meets Hello Kitty". Several AKB48 members are scheduled to attend the event.
