Actress Yamada Yu appeared at a fashion show cakked "Ryukyu Asia Collection 2011" at the Okinawa Convention Center in Ginowan City.

The crowd broke into cheers when Yamada made her entrance in a long dress by "YOKANG", a brand that uses traditional dyed cloth from Okinawa. She revealed that her grandmother was present at the event, and said, "I got to show her my runway walk for the first time."

Around 50 models including Ebihara Yuri and Oshikiri Moe appeared in the show. Using the theme "Passion", the mdoels captivated 4,000 local fans.

This was Ebihara and Oshikiri's first time in a fashion event in Okinawa. Oshikiri expressed, "The ocean is blue, and the sky is beautiful," while Ebihara commented, "I want to attend every time."
