In April, it was announced that lead singer Mochida Kaori of pop group Every Little Thing finally went solo for the first time in two years.

She announced that she would be releasing two consecutive singles. The first was a double A-side, "Megumi / Kanashii Toki mo Ureshii Toki mo", which released earlier this month on the 9th. The second will be "Utsukushiki Uruwashiki Hibi", slated to be released on June 6th.

The upcoming single "Utsukushiki Uruwashiki Hibi" is the theme song to NTV's drama series 'Cleopatra na Onnatachi'. This is Mochida's first time writing a song for a TV drama. The coupling song "tokyo hotaru" was the theme song to the the event 'TOKYO HOTARU' during Golden Week.
