Former gravure idol Amano Maiko (27) will play the heroine in the stage play "Ame ni Saku Hana 2012~Wasuresarareru Monotachi~". �The play will be performed at the Ogikubo Kai Hall in Tokyo from September 1st to September 9th.

Amano made her entertainment debut in 2009 as an assistant on TBS's "Sekiguichi Hiroshi no Tokyo Friend Park II". �At the time she was also active in gravia, but she showed her potential as an actress this June in her first heroine role in the�stage play"I AM SAM."

Amano�spoke about the appearing on the heartfelt comedic stage play "Ame ni Saku Hana" as she stated, "I would like to appear as a natural [to the stage] in the play."

Amano, who revealed her bikini body to Sanspo for the first time in a while, spoke about her possible return to gravia with, "If everyone has such a desire for my return...," and added, �"I want to become a fine actress like Matsu Takako."
