It's been announced that King & Prince's Iwahashi Genki will no longer be resuming a portion of his activities as originally planned. 

Iwahashi had been taking a break from his activities since last November to focus on treatment for panic disorder. Just last week, he announced that he would be resuming a portion of his activities, participating in the group's new single "Kimi wo Matteru" to be released on March 30. 

However, soon after the announcement, Iwahashi's condition became unstable and had to be hospitalized. As such, he will no longer be participating in the new single. In addition, the single's release date has been postponed to April 3.

A comment on Johnny's Entertainment's official website reads, "We believe the priority is for Iwahashi to recover in mind and body. We are sorry, but he will continue to spend his time receiving treatment. We ask for your understanding."
