It's been reported that w-inds. member Ogata Ryuichi has withdrawn from the group and has ended his contact with his agency on May 31.

 w-inds.'s official website explained that Ogata had been experiencing extreme pressure and anxiety in recent years, and after examination at a medical institution, he was diagnosed with psychosomatic disease due to psychosocial stress. He hopes that withdrawing from the group and stepping away from the agency will help him focus more on his mind and body. 

w-inds. will continue their activities with Chiba Ryohei and Tachibana Keita. Ogata commented, "I will do my best in my own way in order to become healthy and meet everyone again someday. I am sure that my pride of being a w-ind.s member for 19 years will help me push myself forward from here on."
