Former AKB48 member and actress Kojima Natsuki has announced her retirement from showbiz. 

On October 10, Kojima held an event to celebrate ten years since her debut. Afterwards, she tweeted, "Thanks to all of you being by my side during the past ten years, I was able to have fun and do my best until now. I have decided to part ways with my job in showbiz which I have been doing for ten years." She continued to express, "Thank you very much for all of your love until now. I am a really happy person to have encountered everyone and received all of your support." 

The date of Kojima's retirement has not been determined yet. She is scheduled to appear in the stage play 'MIX! Konna Beta na Koto Watashi ni Okoru Nante' produced by Miyazaki Rina from November 18.
