It's been announced that STU48 member Ishida Chiho will be taking a hiatus. 

Ishida has been a main member of the group serving as the center for the first time in their latest single "Hitorigoto de Kataru Kurainara" (released in February). On the group's official website, she wrote, "Right now, I am going to rest my mind and body, and spend my time at ease in order to appear in front of everyone healthily again. I am very sorry. It would make me happy if you would please wait for me."

To coincide with her hiatus, Ishida's blog updates and SHOWROOM streams will be put to a halt.
