On May 14, multinational hiphop/funk band ALI's drummer Kahadio was indicted after being arrested last month for fraud. Consequently, his contract with Alien Liberty International rescinded and has withdrawn from the band. 

In response to Kahadio's indictment, ALI will be going on an indefinite hiatus. Additionally, shipment of ALI's CDs and video products handled by Sony Music Labels have been put to a stop and have also been pulled from store inventory. Furthermore, digital distribution of music and videos have been suspended.
