Ikimonogakari's new song "Kyou kara, Koko kara" will be released digitally on May 30.
"Kyou kara, Koko kara" is a project that Ikimonogakari started with Kameda Seiji to "think about what artists can do while social distancing and create a universal song amid the unprecedented experience of the 2020 coronavirus disaster." With this thought, they began working on the song remotely last year.
A special website for "Kyou kara, Koko kara" has been launched, and music journalist Shiba Tomonori will write in its diary about their long-term remote music production experience as a third party. The diary will be updated five times before May 29, when Ikimonogakari is scheduled to appear in the live-streaming event 'Hibiya Ongakusai 2021' in which Kameda serves as its executive committee chairperson.
