Kimura Takuya will release his second album "Next Destination" on January 19, 2022.

The album's title, which was named by Kimura himself, means heading toward the next destination with hope. He wants to encourage people to overcome the coronavirus disaster and take a new step forward. "We have no choice but to go! Let's aim for the next destination together," he said. 

The album will include a new song titled "MOJO DRIVE" which was composed by Yamashita Tatsuro and written by Mashima Masatoshi (The Cro-Magnons). This song was created after Yamashita attended the Tokyo concert of Kimura's tour 'TAKUYA KIMURA Live Tour 2020 Go with the Flow' held in February of last year. As he was working on the song, Yamashita asked Mashima to write its lyrics. The recording took place under Yamashita's direction. Although it was not planned, Yamashita, Mashima, and Kimura were all at the recording studio at the same time, so they recorded the chorus together. In addition to "MOJO DRIVE," there will be another song by Yamashita and Mashima.
