Haru and Hayashi Kento will star in TV Asahi's Friday night drama 'Itoshii Uso~Yasahii Yami~' from January of 2022. 

This is a drama adaptation of Aimoto Mizuho's popular love suspense manga 'Itoshii Uso Yasashii Yami' that has been serialized in Kondansha's free manga app 'Palcy' since April of 2020. The script will be written by Ushio Kentaro ('Shitamachi Rocket,' 'Hanzawa Naoki').

Fourteen years after their middle school graduation, six friends get together for a class reunion. However, an incident occurs where they start dying one after another. The drama portrays the darkness these individuals possess, the immense lies that were told to hide that darkness, and the incidents caused by love-hate ideals. It will also have an original story development different from the original manga.

Haru will play the protagonist Imai Nozomi, an aspiring manga artist. While working as a manga assistant, she reunites with her first love at her class reunion. She always thought it was a one-sided love until he actively approaches her during their reunion. 

Meanwhile, Hayashi will play Nozomi's first love Amemiya Shuichi. He is the perfect man, but holds a dark secret. 

Haru and Hayashi have previously worked together in the movie 'Chii-chan wa Yukyu no Muko' (2007), drama 'ON Ijou Hanzai Sousakan: Todo Hinako' (2016), and movie 'Coffee ga Samenai Uchi ni' (2018).
