Ayaka's new album "Funtale" will be released on June 21. 

"Funtale" will be Ayaka's original seventh album, her first since "LOVE CYCLE" was released in February of last year. The album is named after "Fantail," a songbird that is native to New Zealand. 

All 11 songs in the album were written and composed by Ayaka. For song arrangement, she worked with UTA, Kan Sano, Shin Sakiura, and others. The Blu-ray and DVD will contain footage from her concert at Yoyogi National Stadium last November, which was a part of her tour 'AYAKA 15TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2021 ~Motto Ii Hi ni~.'

The singer commented, "It's been over 15 years since I made my debut. Seeking growth and change as a singer and creator, I tried creating songs in NZ, located in the southern hemisphere. Being surrounded by the beautiful ocean, comfortable winds, and delicious air, and being exposed to gentle personalities and culture, I feel like I've found a new perspective on creativity."
