
Big news from Johnny & Associates: The new CEO, Noriyuki Higashiyama, is considering a company name change, and they're planning to announce the new name on October 2nd. This will be his second public appearance as CEO, and he'll also discuss what's happening with Julie Fujishima's shares.
Higashiyama initially had mixed feelings about the name change, but he decided to go for it after taking public opinion and victim feelings into account. They'll finalize the new name by the2nd of next month when they announce the new setup.
In addition, they're creating a new company within the agency to deal with victim compensation, and they're thinking of bringing in someone with entertainment industry know-how to lead it.
Originally, they were going to release details in writing, but now they're doing a press conference in Tokyo. Yoshihiko Inohara, president of Johnny's Island, will join them on stage.

The agency mentioned on their website that they're taking everyone's opinions and criticisms seriously and discussing the future direction of the agency. They even had a board meeting to talk about Julie Fujishima's shares, victim compensation, the name change, and the future of their talents and employees.
