Aika Ota, also known as Lovetan, a former member of AKB48 and HKT48, and wife of Lotte Marines outfielder Koki Yamaguchi, announced on Instagram that she is expecting their first child.

In her post titled "Announcement," Ota shared, "We are delighted to welcome a new life into our family. I am now in the late stages of pregnancy. Initially, we planned to share the news only after the birth, but it became difficult to keep it private, so we decided to announce it now." She included a photo of her rounded baby bump.

Expressing her joy, Ota wrote, "Every day, I feel our baby moving energetically inside me, and I can't wait to meet them. Once the baby is born, I will update everyone again. Thank you for always watching over us. We appreciate your continued support."

Lovetan joined AKB48 in 2006 as part of the group's third-generation members. She transferred to HKT48 in 2012 and graduated in April 2017 to focus on her acting career. In October 2022, she left her talent agency. Ota announced her marriage to Koki Yamaguchi in November 2022.
