Takuma Terashima, renowned for his roles in anime such as Otoya Ittoki in Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 1000%, has released his new concept EP, ELEMENTS, on September 4, 2024. The EP includes a voice drama titled "Samael to no Kaikou" (Encounter with Samael), which plays a central role in setting up Terashima’s upcoming live tour starting September 15.
The voice drama features Daisuke Sakuma from Snow Man as the enigmatic character Samael. This collaboration marks the first time Terashima and Sakuma have worked together as voice actors, despite being close friends in real life. Written by Terashima, "Samael to no Kaikou" is available exclusively on the CD of the ELEMENTS EP.
Comment from Daisuke Sakuma: “I’ve been hoping for a long time that we would collaborate on a voice acting project, so I’m thrilled that it finally happened. Terashima-san’s creation of this world is impressive, and I’m excited for fans to hear our performance together.”
A behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of ELEMENTS is available on Terashima’s official YouTube channel. The video includes footage from the recording of "Samael to no Kaikou," as well as from the album cover photoshoot and recording sessions.

Additionally, Terashima will host the September edition of ANISON EXPO on TOKYO FM, with Daisuke Sakuma appearing as a guest on the September 7 and 14 broadcasts. The episodes will feature discussions on the recording of "Samael to no Kaikou" and other otaku-themed topics.

Voice Drama Synopsis In "Samael to no Kaikou," Takuma Terashima (voiced by himself) is organizing scripts in his workroom when Samael (voiced by Daisuke Sakuma), a world creator and “otaku,” appears. Samael reveals that the world is stagnating and asks Terashima to use his music to restore vitality and harmony. This sets the stage for Terashima’s upcoming nationwide tour.
