SEKAI NO OWARI's pianist, Saori, has joyfully announced her second pregnancy via Instagram on October 25. She shared that she is now in the later stages of her pregnancy and expecting to welcome her new baby in December.

In her heartfelt post, Saori reflected on discovering her pregnancy in the spring, just as the band began their “Shinkai” arena tour. She expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of her family and tour team, especially her fellow male band members, who frequently checked in on her and offered encouragement. Saori said, “Thanks to my family and friends, I am in good health as I approach the final stages of my pregnancy.”

Saori, married to actor Dai Ikeda since January 2017, is already a mother to a six-year-old son, who contributed to the announcement with a drawing of the baby. Saori affectionately shared that the family nicknamed the baby “Goma-chan” because the baby was initially the size of a sesame seed when they first learned of the pregnancy.

Saori looks forward to sharing more joyful news later this year with the birth of her second child, as she continues to feel the love and support from those closest to her.
