Cö shu Nie and HYDE have teamed up for the first time to collaborate on the song "MAISIE," which has been chosen as the opening theme for the new anime 'Black Butler - The Green Witch Arc (Kuroshitsuji - Midori no Majo-hen),' set to start in April.
'Black Butler - The Green Witch Arc' is the latest installment in the anime series based on the popular manga by Yana Toboso. The opening theme "MAISIE" was written by HYDE, inspired by the storyline of 'Black Butler - The Green Witch Arc,' with the arrangement by Miku Nakamura of Cö shu Nie.

HYDE, a long-time fan of the 'Black Butler' series who has even dressed as the protagonist Ciel Phantomhive for his Halloween performances, commented on the collaboration, "The work of shaping Ciel’s will and Sullivan’s fate progressed smoothly. It was then turned into a wonderful track thanks to Miku Nakamura’s genius arrangement. I’m really looking forward to seeing how it fits with the opening visuals. I wonder if 'Black Butler' fans will enjoy it?"
Miku Nakamura, also a fan of the original work, shared her thoughts, "I was a little worried about whether I might get in trouble, but I did my best to expand on the ideas and concepts HYDE sent me and had fun creating it in my own way!"
