
Actor Ryo Yoshizawa has issued a heartfelt apology after an incident that occurred on December 30, 2024. Yoshizawa's agency, AMUSE, confirmed on January 6, 2025, that the actor, intoxicated, mistakenly entered the wrong apartment in his building, causing considerable distress to the resident in the neighboring unit. Yoshizawa and his agency have since apologized to the affected individual.
Yoshizawa expressed deep regret for his actions, stating, "I sincerely apologize for my selfish and inconsiderate behavior, which has caused significant trouble to many people. I am truly aware of my immaturity, especially considering the responsibility I hold as a lead actor and public figure."
He went on to acknowledge that his behavior was likely due to complacency and promised to reflect on the situation, ensuring it would never happen again. "I will take the feedback from everyone seriously and reflect on my actions deeply. I am committed to never betraying those who have forgiven me, including my fans and everyone involved."
Yoshizawa expressed his intention to mature as a person and grow from this experience. He concluded his statement with another apology, stating, "I am truly sorry for the distress I have caused."
AMUSE also reported that Yoshizawa has already vacated his apartment and apologized to both the affected neighbor and the public. The agency and Yoshizawa have reassured fans and stakeholders with their transparent handling of the situation.
