
On February 14, KAT-TUN's Kazuya Kamenashi updated his paid membership blog, marking his first time addressing his feelings after the group’s disbandment announcement, set for the end of March.
In a voice filled with emotion, Kamenashi expressed his deep regret, saying, "I am truly sorry for how things have turned out. I sincerely apologize." His voice trembled as he shared his heartache with fans.
"I will continue to live with pride as a member of KAT-TUN, until the very end," Kamenashi continued, at times choking up. "Although I've caused sadness, I promise to create even more smiles moving forward." His words reflected a commitment to continue on his path with sincerity.
On February 12, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT officially announced the disbandment of KAT-TUN, effective March 31. Kamenashi will be leaving the company, while fellow members Yuichi Nakamaru and Tatsuya Ueda will remain.
