Renka Iwamoto of Nogizaka46 has announced her return to activities after a temporary hiatus that began in January. She shared the news through her official blog, expressing her commitment to moving forward with a renewed sense of responsibility.

Iwamoto will participate in select parts of Yuki Yoda’s graduation concert, set for February 22 and 23 at Fukuoka’s Mizuho PayPay Dome. Reflecting on their time together, she stated, “Having spent about eight and a half years alongside Yoda, I want to support her graduation until the very end. I will stand on stage with a sense of responsibility as a member of Nogizaka46.”

Her hiatus followed a personal controversy last month, when a private photo surfaced online. At the time, she publicly apologized, acknowledging her actions and the concerns they caused. Now, as she takes steps to resume activities, she shared her determination to start fresh, saying, “I will give my all once again, with a strong awareness of my role in Nogizaka46, to repay those who support me and to earn their trust.”
