Shota Shimizu will embark on his nationwide tour, 'Gel Piyo presents SHOTA SHIMIZU LIVE TOUR 2025,' from June to August this year.

Celebrating his 17th anniversary since debuting, Shimizu will kick off the tour on June 24 at Saitama's Omiya Sonic City Hall, touring across major halls in Japan. The tour will culminate with a two-day concert at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan on August 29 and 30. Fans can reserve tickets early through the official fan club "S.S FAMILY" until March 2 at 11:59 pm JST. 

Additionally, Shimizu will release a new single titled "Syrup" on April 16. The track is a love song that samples "Yellow Jacket," a piece by Shaun Martin, a producer who was one of Shimizu's musical influences and who tragically passed away in August of last year. The song reflects everyday conflicts and moments experienced by couples. Shimizu is also working on a new album, and a staff-run Instagram account has been created for updates.

On February 24, Shimizu will perform the final show of his 'Gel Piyo presents SHOTA SHIMIZU Zepp Tour 2025 for Family' at Zepp Namba (OSAKA). A playlist featuring tracks from this tour's setlist has been made available on various streaming platforms.
