YOSHIKI has donated €100,000 to support wildfire relief efforts in France and Spain, along with ¥10 million to aid in recovery following the earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture on July 29.

Through his nonprofit organization, Yoshiki Foundation America, the musician donated €50,000 each to the French Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross to support emergency response and recovery efforts. He also contributed ¥10 million to the Japanese Red Cross Society to assist communities affected by the Kumamoto earthquake.

"Even though I have lived in Los Angeles for many years, Japan will always be my home, and Europe—especially France—has also become another home to me," YOSHIKI said. "Seeing people in France, Spain, and Japan facing such devastating disasters is heartbreaking."

He added, "Disasters do not recognize borders, and compassion should not either. I hope these donations provide immediate support, encourage others to help, and remind those affected that they are not alone."

The donations come after a busy month for YOSHIKI, who performed at 'Japan Expo' in Paris before making his sold-out debut at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on July 16 and 17.

Through Yoshiki Foundation America, YOSHIKI has supported disaster relief, medical research, education, and humanitarian initiatives around the world. In recent years, he has contributed to relief efforts following disasters in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and the United States.
