Renowned Japanese actor Taiyo Sugiura has embarked on a new chapter in his career by joining the entertainment agency Twin Planet as of March 10, 2025. This transition was officially announced on Twin Planet's website and echoed through Sugiura's personal Instagram account, where he conveyed his gratitude to supporters and enthusiasm for future endeavors.

Sugiura's career commenced in 1998, leading to his prominent role as Musashi Haruno in the 2001 series "Ultraman Cosmos," a character he reprised in subsequent films. His versatility extends beyond acting, with appearances in various television dramas and participation in numerous variety shows, solidifying his status in the Japanese entertainment industry.

On the personal front, Sugiura married former Morning Musume member Nozomi Tsuji in 2007. The couple has four children and is anticipating the arrival of their fifth, as announced earlier this month.
