LUNA SEA has announced that they will release their new song "FOREVER" on May 29, marking their first new release in approximately six years.

After the death of drummer Shinya in February, the band held a concert at Ariake Arena in March, where they also announced their nationwide tour, 'LUNA SEA TOUR 2026 UNENDING JOURNEY -FOREVER-.' 

The release of "FOREVER" was revealed via a message video shared on April 17 on the band's official YouTube channel. It features members RYUICHI, INORAN, SUGIZO, and J reflecting on the band's current state and the meaning behind the new song. J also confirmed that the track includes Shinya's drumming, sharing that the late drummer had been pleased with his recorded take.
