STU48 announced during its 9th anniversary concert on May 30 at Kanadevia Hall that the group's upcoming 14th single, currently untitled, will be released on September 16.

For the title track, first-generation member Cocoa Kai will serve as center for the first time.

Third-generation members Hibiki Hamada and Himena Morisue, along with fourth-generation trainee members Sayaka Shimada and Ako Sogabe, were also selected for the senbatsu for the first time.

Kai debuted as a first-generation member of STU48 in March 2017 before transferring to KLP48 in June 2024, where she remained active until February of this year. She resumed activities with STU48 in March.

Regarding her first time as center, Kai commented, "As STU48 celebrates its 9th anniversary and enters its 10th year, I believe this is a very important single for the group, and I want to stand at the center with a strong sense of responsibility."
