As of July 30, 2010, ex-pop idol and actress Noriko Sakai has finally gotten her divorce. Her former agency, Sun Music Production, confirmed the news.

Since her conviction last year for drug use and possession, Noriko has gone through some tough times. Her ex-husband Yuichi Takaso was also convicted of the same charges, since then the couple has been talking about divorce.

The decision to divorce plays a �huge part in Noriko�s rehabilitation.
