Singer-songwriter milet has revealed that she was diagnosed with depression before taking a four-month hiatus from her activities in 2025.

On September 15, milet appeared on Nippon TV's Yoru no Oto -TOKYO MIDNIGHT MUSIC-, where she said she began experiencing physical symptoms about a year before her break. "I went to the hospital and was told I had depression," she recalled, explaining that she eventually struggled to move, speak normally, or even get out of bed.

After reaching her "mental and physical limits," milet and her team decided she needed time away. She announced her hiatus in April 2025 and resumed her activities that August.

milet also spoke about the pressure of working as a solo artist and the anxiety she felt during her break as she watched other artists continue releasing music. "I wanted to sing, but I couldn't," she shared.
