The 77th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will be held at NHK Hall in Tokyo on December 31.

The annual year-end music program will air from 7:20 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. JST on NHK General, BSP4K, BS8K, and NHK AM. Live and catch-up streaming will also be available through NHK ONE. The participating artists will be announced at a later date.

Applications to attend the event will be accepted through NHK's official website from October 1 at 11:00 a.m. through October 15 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Further application details will be provided when registration opens.
