The 43rd annual Yuusen Taishou Awards have announced their nominees for their winter award ceremony on November 18th.

The "Yuusen Ongaku Yuushuu Shou" award for musical excellence has several nominations.� Among the performers honored are Uemura Kana, Ootsuki Miyako, JUJU, Nishino Kana, Hikawa Kiyoshi, hilcrhyme, FUNKY MONKEY BABYS, and Mizumori Kaori for a total of eight nominees.� Besides the overall musical award for excellence, there will also be awards for best newcomer and Yuusen enquiry awards.� A special prize was also given to Uemura Kana's ten minute long epic, "Toilet no Kami-sama."

The awards first began in 1968 and have now reached their 43rd year.� The ceremony will air on November 18th on TBS and JNN nationwide net starting at 7PM.
