In the July issue of monthly magazine 'Dessert', it was revealed that Robiko's popular comic, "Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun", will be getting an anime adaptation this fall!

"Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun" is a romantic comedy that tells a story of two high school students and their classmates.�Tomatsu Haruka voices the character Mizutani Shizuku, a girl who only has interest in her studies. Meanwhile Suzuki Tatsuhisa will play Yoshida Haru, a trouble maker who refuses to come to school and has an extremely hard time dealing with people.

The anime will be directed by Kaburagi Hiro (Kimi ni Todoke), and Takagi Noboru (DURARARA!!, Sankarea) will be the story editor.�The animation will be done by Brains Base (Natsume Yujin Chou, DURARARA!!, Kurage Hime).

The voice cast also includes Tanezaki Atsumi (Natsume Asako), Osaka Ryota (Sasahara Souhei), Terashima Takuma (Yamaguchi Kenji), Hanazawa Kana (Oshima Chizuru), Higuchi Tomoyuki (Micchan), and Nakamura Yuichi (Yoshida Yuzan).
