Yuria Suzuki, who gained popularity after appearing in the first season of Netflix's reality show Love Joto (Badly in Love), has announced that she will release her new digital single, "The Sky Lies," on November 18.
The upcoming track is written, composed, and self-produced by Suzuki, marking a departure from her debut single, which was a Eurobeat cover. Drawing inspiration from R&B and hip-hop ballads, the new song features a mellow sound and heartfelt lyrics.
According to Suzuki, she originally wrote the foundation of the lyrics approximately three years ago. The song expresses her feelings toward someone important who supported her through difficult times.
Suzuki, who made her singing debut on June 17, is currently traveling across Japan on her CLUB TOUR Open Your Eyes, performing at clubs and nightlife venues.
She first performed "The Sky Lies" during her October 3 concert at UTAGE in Sapporo, Hokkaido, where she hinted that the song would be released soon.
