Ikimonogakari will be in charge of the new opening theme for TV Tokyo's anime 'BORUTO- NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS.'

Ikimonogakari provided "Blue Bird" in 2008 and "Hotaru no Hikari" in 2009 for the 'NARUTO Shippuden' series. About twelve years later, the group is back with a new song titled "BAKU" for the 'NARUTO' spin-off series 'BORUTO.' Written and composed by member Mizuno Yoshiki, it's described as an uptempo tune with a blues sound. Eguchi Ryo, who arranged "Blue Bird" and "Hotaru no Hikari," took part in arranging this song. It will be available on music subscription services on January 18, 2021. 

"BAKU" will be released as Ikimonogakari's new single on February 24. Besides "BAKU," the single will include "Blue Bird" and "Hotaru no Hikari." It will also be available in vinyl format.
