Second generation member Matsuda Rina has been appointed as vice-captain of Sakurazaka46. Meanwhile, Sugai Yuka will continue to serve as captain of the group. 

On the new formation, Sakurazaka46's official website states, "We hope that the first and second-generation members will work hand-in-hand, in unity with each other."
