Actress Fukada Kyoko (38), who took a temporary hiatus to get treated for adjustment disorder, announced on the 2nd that she will be resuming her activities.
Fukada posted on her Instagram account, "I apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to everybody due to my sudden break. I am sincerely grateful for the warm encouragement and support. Thank you very much. Thanks to everyone's support and the break I was given, both my mind and body have recovered, and I will be resuming my activities."
On May 26, Fukada's agency announced that the actress would be taking a temporary break after being diagnosed with adjustment disorder. Due to this, she was unable to take on the lead role in Fuji TV's upcoming drama 'Oshi no Oujisama.' Her starring film 'Lupin's Daughter: The Movie' is still scheduled to open in theaters on October 15.
