
On September 22nd, Johnny's & Associates announced that Hey! Say! JUMP member Yamada Ryosuke has been infected with COVID-19.
Previously, fellow member Nakajima Yuto tested positive for the virus on the 20th. According to the announcement, Yamada had a fever and sore throat on the evening of the 21st. While he tested negative following Nakajima's positive diagnosis, another PCR test confirmed him positive on the 22nd. He is currently isolating and resting at home.
As for the group's performance in 'TV Asahi Dream Festival 2022' on the 24th, it will now take place with just five members. Johnny's & Associates expressed, "We are truly sorry to those who were looking forward to the performance. Thank you for your understanding."
