Reina’s agency expressed gratitude for the support and shared that she plans to continue her entertainment career post-marriage. The statement read, "We are pleased to announce that our talent, Reina Tanaka, has gotten married. She will continue her professional activities, and we ask for your continued support."

Reina herself posted a heartfelt message addressed to her fans and colleagues on social media. "I have some personal news to share: I'm getting married, and I am also expecting a baby! Reina Tanaka joined Morning Musume's 6th Generation in 2003, providing main vocals for "Shabondama" and later forming the sub-unit Aa!. She voiced characters in several anime series and led the Hello! Project unit High-King. After graduating from Morning Musume in 2013, she focused on her rock band Lovendor.
