Azusa Kishimoto, a model and television personality, has passed away at the age of 39 due to cancer. Her agency, Oscar Promotion, announced the news on March 7, revealing that she had passed on February 24.

According to the official statement, her funeral services have already been held, and the announcement was made after the proceedings. The agency also requested privacy for her grieving family and urged the media to refrain from contacting those close to her.

Kishimoto first entered the entertainment industry in 2000 as a member of the vocal group Angelique before transitioning into television. She became well-known as a reporter for Nippon TV’s morning information programs, Zoom In!! Super and Zoom In!! Saturday, where she gained recognition for her engaging presence.

Outside of her career, Kishimoto was also a devoted mother to three children. She married a non-celebrity in 2011 and welcomed her first child in 2013, followed by two more in 2017 and 2020.
