Masaharu Fukuyama will release a new album on September 9, marking his first in five years and nine months since "AKIRA" (2020).

His 13th original album will include songs released between 2021 and 2026, along with previously unreleased material. Among the tracks are "Soubo," the theme song for 'Ano Hana ga Saku Oka de, Kimi to Mata Deaetara.,' "Mokusei feat. Koshi Inaba," "Genkai," written for the film 'Black Showman,' "Banyuuinryoku," the theme for 'DayDay.,' "Ryu," inspired by Ryoma Sakamoto, and "Hakushu Kassai," the theme song for 'Tatsuki Sensei wa Amasugiru!.'

The album will be released in five editions: a limited live video edition, two limited editions featuring newly recorded versions of songs from 1990–1999 and 2000–2020, a standard edition, and a fan club-exclusive BROS. edition. The live video edition will include footage from Fukuyama's 35th anniversary dome concert in Fukuoka, as well as select performances from his current 'WE'RE BROS. TOUR 2026.' It will also come with two original guitar picks.

Fukuyama commented, "I still don't know whether it's ego, a pure wish, or a resistance to death—but this album reflects my struggle as a songwriter connecting past and future."
