Ai Otsuka will produce Pasmal, a two-member unit made up of high school students.

Pasmal consists of Natsu from Miyazaki and Yun from Okinawa. The pair met at an audition and began posting on TikTok under the name "Takada to Takahashi" in November 2025, gaining attention for videos about life in Tokyo and their journey toward an artist debut.

They announced in March that they had passed an audition, and later revealed that a major artist would be producing them.

This marks Otsuka's first time taking on a producer role. She shared, "It's been a long time since I first said I wanted to do production. When I actually took it on, I found myself pausing many times because of the weight of the responsibility." She added that she hopes to bring out the duo's clear vocals and natural, straightforward charm.

Pasmal will release their debut song "Smilen," written and composed by Otsuka, on June 6, with a second single, "BULL," set for July.
