Singer-songwriter aiko updated her X account to address an incident that took place during her concert in Hakodate on May 16.

The discussion began after a fan posted that an elderly audience member had collapsed during a performance on her 'Love Like Pop vol.25' tour at Hakodate Civic Hall in Hakodate. According to the post, nearby fans quickly rushed to help while staff repeatedly checked on the person afterward. The fan also mentioned that aiko hugged the audience member while walking through the venue.

Responding to the post, aiko revealed, "That was my father," and thanked the fans who immediately came to help. She later reassured fans by explaining, "Apparently my dad's butt cramped," adding jokingly that the local squid dance must have been a really good workout.
