On May 20, the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) announced the winners of the 2026 JASRAC Awards. 

The awards honor songwriters, composers, and music publishers whose works generated the highest royalty distributions through music streaming, karaoke, commercials, and other uses during the previous fiscal year.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE received the Gold Prize for "Lilac," which was written and composed by Motoki Ohmori. Released in April 2024 as the opening theme for the anime 'Oblivion Battery,' the song became a major hit across streaming and karaoke platforms and later won the Japan Record Award.

Ohmori commented, "I'm truly honored and proud to receive an award like this. At the same time, it motivates me to keep pushing myself. I'm really happy that the power of 'Lilac' was recognized."

The Silver Prize went to "Kawa no Nagare no Youni" by Hibari Misora, while the Bronze Prize was awarded to "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by Creepy Nuts.
