Genie High is officially making their return.

The band has been announced as part of the lineup for 'KOYABU SONIC 2026,' the annual music and comedy festival organized by Kazutoyo Koyabu. Genie High will perform on September 23, marking their first appearance in about a year.

The group had been on hiatus since announcing the end of their contract with Warner Music Japan in September 2025, describing themselves as entering a "freeze-dried" state.

Ahead of the comeback, KOYABU SONIC's official social media accounts have released a four-part video series titled 'Beni Shoga's Road to Genie High's Revival.'
