Hiromitsu Kitayama has released the music video for his new song "BACKLASH" on YouTube.

Released digitally on September 28, "BACKLASH" will serve as the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime Tougen Anki, which begins airing on October 2. Kitayama wrote the lyrics for the song, drawing inspiration from the series' conflict between good and evil and the idea of hidden emotions suddenly erupting.

The music video uses volumetric art and CG to capture the song's fast-paced energy, with performance and motorcycle scenes set against dark red-and-black visuals.

Kitayama commented, "I think it's a very fast-paced video that takes you on a whirlwind from beginning to end. I hope fans of Tougen Anki, my own fans, and even those who don’t know me yet will watch it."
