Former Melon Kinenbi member Hitomi Saito has just announced her marriage to Tokyo Dynamite comedy duo's Hachimitsu Jirou.

The wedding and reception are arranged, but there are no current plans to hold a press conference. Despite this, Hachimitsu Jirou did release a comment to his fans regarding the wedding:

Today we have been joined on my family register.� In my proposal speech I said, "But what will happen if we break up?"� and she replied with "I'll go home to Niigata."� So I said, "I'm going to watch over you for the rest of my life, so I'll go home to Niigata too"� and gave her the ring.� Please look after me in the future.

Back on May 3rd Hitomi Saito announced her retirement from the entertainment business with the dissolution of her group Melon Kinenbi.� Several of the other members have moved on to solo singing careers, but Saito seems content with finally settling down and starting married life.� It is hoped that fans will watch over her happily.
