Rock band Chatmonchy has announced that they will be releasing their new single, "Hatena", on May 2nd.

The title track is described as an aggressive and heavy garage rock number. The song begins with member Hashimoto Eriko sounding the harp, followed by the lyrics, "Ningen wa mendokusai (Humans are bothersome)".

Chatmonchy became a two-member band last September after the withdrawal of drummer Takahashi Kumiko. This year, they have already released two singles, "Mangetsu ni Hoero" and "Thermae Roman".
