
Inohara Yoshikiko (V6), Masuda Takahisa (NEWS), Kitayama Hiromitsu (Kis-My-Ft2), Shigeoka Daiki (Johnny's WEST), and Kishi Yuta (King & Prince) will be the main personalities for the charity telethon '24-Hour Television 43' to broadcast on August 22 and 23 from the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Since its first broadcast in 1978, '24-Hour Television' aired for its 42nd time last year. This year, due to the coronavirus, it will be broadcast "not for the 43rd time, but for the first time in the new normal." The theme will be 'ugoku' ('to move'). There will be no face-to-face donation at the venue, but a cashless donation will be available. In addition, its annual marathon will not be held this year.
Out of the five main personalities - Inohara has been appointed captain, Masuda will be the vice captain, For Kitayama, Shigeoka, and Kishi. This will be their first time serving as main personalities for '24-Hour Television.'
