Hawaii-born singer Tegan has released her second digital single, "Daydream," on October 21, accompanied by a new music video.

Following her solo debut with "I choose me" in July, which focused on self-love and staying true to oneself, "Daydream" explores the excitement of imagining a future filled with new possibilities, including spending time with someone special and becoming the person one hopes to be.

The song blends nostalgic pop melodies with light beats and Tegan's distinctive warm, husky vocals, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Its lyrics encourage listeners to embrace their imagination while holding on to the hope of making their dreams a reality.

The accompanying music video features a whimsical world where fantasy and reality overlap, with quirky, dreamlike creatures continuing the playful visual style introduced in her debut release.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Tegan began her music career in 2015 as part of the ukulele duo Tegan & Kaylen after passing an avex audition in Hawaii. In 2018, she performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, becoming the festival's youngest-ever performer at the time.

Following an appearance on the survival audition program CHUANG ASIA 2024 in Thailand, Tegan resumed her artistic activities in 2024. She moved to Japan approximately a year ago and is now pursuing her solo career, bringing together her musical experiences and imaginative approach to pop music.
